U4GM - 6 Creative Crafts and Art Ideas Inspired by Marvel Rivals

As a longtime fan of both Marvel games and creative DIY projects, I’ve found endless inspiration in the vibrant characters, thrilling storylines, and unique art style of Marvel Rivals. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or someone just starting out, bringing your favorite heroes and villains into the real world through handmade art can be both rewarding and deeply satisfying. Here are six creative crafts and art ideas that Marvel fans can enjoy—especially if you’re as hyped as I am about the latest skins and bundles.

1. Superhero Shadow Boxes

One of the most striking ways to display your love for Marvel Rivals is through shadow boxes. I recently crafted one featuring Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch, using cut paper layers and LED lights to bring the dimensional magic to life. Choose your favorite character, add comic book cut-outs or in-game screenshots, and layer different depths of cardstock to create a 3D scene. It’s a great way to showcase your fandom on a shelf or wall.

2. Custom Painted Game Controllers

Inspired by the stylized color schemes and designs in the game, I painted my own controller with a Deadpool theme using acrylic paints and a sealant. It now feels like part of the Marvel Rivals universe every time I play. Whether you go for the high-tech look of Iron Man or the cosmic energy of Star-Lord, the possibilities are endless.

3. Handcrafted Cosplay Accessories

While browsing online for new items to expand my collection, I came across an amazing deal to buy marvel rivals bundles, which included limited-time skins and exclusive in-game items. These designs served as great inspiration when crafting my own cosplay accessories like Loki’s horns or Black Widow’s gauntlets. EVA foam, thermoplastics, and metallic paints are your best friends here.

4. DIY Marvel Character Jars

This is a fun, simple project that’s great for kids or fans who love decorative desk items. I made a series of storage jars painted to look like Spider-Man, Venom, and Hulk using glass jars, paint pens, and polymer clay for accents. These can be used to store pens, crafting tools, or even gaming accessories.

5. Custom Sketchbook Covers

If you’re someone who likes to draw or journal, turning your sketchbook cover into a Marvel Rivals tribute can be incredibly motivating. I used mixed media—ink, markers, and a little bit of washi tape—to create a bold cover featuring Wolverine. It’s a great way to express your creativity while keeping your fandom close.

6. Themed Clothing and Costume Accents

With a growing fanbase and an increasing variety of marvel rivals costumes for sale, I’ve started customizing regular clothing with fabric paint and patches. I transformed a denim jacket into a tribute to the X-Men by adding heat-press vinyls and iron-on emblems. If you want to go deeper, you can even sew costume elements into casual wear—think Black Panther-inspired trim or Captain Marvel color palettes.

Whether you’re crafting alone or hosting a Marvel-themed art night with friends, these projects allow you to blend creativity with your passion for Marvel Rivals. Many of my projects started out as small weekend hobbies but have since become some of my favorite ways to relax and reconnect with the Marvel universe. Plus, staying updated with in-game items like bundles and costumes only adds to the inspiration.
